The Cavaniglia Pavilion, opened in 1997, is located next to an ancient gate called Porta Faenza. It is a charming modular and multifunctional venue, combining a contemporary design with a perfect integration in the 16th-century architectural context of the Fortezza da Basso, using a portion of its outer walls in a charming and fascinating mixture of different historical periods. It also features a waved roof, resulting from a complex structure of laminated wood beams, supported by stainless steel tie rods. The internal space (3,300 sq m) allows various set-ups according to specific needs, such as setting up important national and international fairs. It can host any kind of event, but also meetings, gala dinners and shows. It may also become an international congress center suitable for those who plan meetings with a high number of attendees.
